The property that The Chapel is situated on is the Fort Hancock Historic District of Sandy Hook’s national park. As a nationally historic landmark this venue projects a classically unique character. With the gentle tumbling of the tides created by the bay, you will truly find this waterfront location to be intimate and serene in nature.

Outdoor Ceremony

Wedding vows can be exchanged on the grassy area surrounding the Chapel’s building, over looking the bay, or inside the historic Chapel.

As vows are exchanged along the bayside waterfront, with the highland skyline providing the backdrop, you will be solidifying your love in pure tranquility.

The panoramic views seen from the outdoor ceremony area are impressive and unforgettable.

Wedding Chapel

If you choose to have your ceremony inside the Chapel (seen below) itself you will undoubtedly find its historical nature, with wooden flooring, classic-style windows, and antiquated vaulted ceiling, to be quite intriguing.

Wedding Reception Hall

If you choose to have your ceremony outside, The Chapel interior (seen above) can be utilized as a reception site. The rectangular space is approximately 2,997 square feet and greets guests with a foyer, complete with a coatroom, as they enter.  A maximum of 135 family and friends can be accommodated inside the historically natured building.

Outdoor Wedding Reception

Even more so, if you decide to have your ceremony within the Chapel interior, a tent is permitted to be erected on the largely open, grass field surrounding the building, which can accommodate a maximum of 250 guests.
